At MGA we like to go above and beyond, and when it comes to student development we don’t leave anything to chance. That is why over the last six years we have built two incredible international programmes that run annually and invite students to experience the Performing Arts industry first hand in the United States.
These trips are designed to offer students the opportunity to take a selection of classes in their chosen subjects with leading tutors from the US. They will meet some of MGA’s friends and professional consultants, to learn about networking and building relationships from agents, casting directors, choreographers, musical directors and performers currently working in New York and Los Angeles.
At they same time, students experience long-distance travel and the related administrative processes, cultural differences and challenging environments that all come as part of working internationally.
MGA trips also encourage students to discover and develop a better level of self-awareness within a group dynamic and in different learning environments. A willingness to cooperate and compromise is essential, and their capacity for responsibility, self-sufficiency and resilience is challenged and increased.
